I am 26 years old and from Richmond, Va. I served 6 years in the United States Navy as a Fire Controlmen 3rd class. I worked on NATO Sea Sparrow Weapon System and a little bit on CWIS. I know electronics on the component level. I am currently working on getting an IT degree. I am divorced with 2 kids, my ex has both children. Right now I am working at Hooters to get the bills paid until I get a better job. I am somewhat Republican, but I do support some Democrat Ideals. I mostly middle on the political spectrum. As you see in the blog topic headline and description, the news articles I see are so one sided, so I am going to provide commentary (with links to the original article). I like a little bit of everything and if I do not know about something I look it up from multiple sources and come to my own opinion. Now I do not have a degree in writing so if my grammar is wrong or the fact that I do not use paragraphs yet bothers you, suck it up. I am learning this as I go. If you want to leave a few tips, go ahead feel free. I will take it in stride. My first true article will be posted shortly. So, hang on a but while I gather my information.

LW said most of what I was going to say.

I'll reiterate this much: Welcome!

All you have to do to initiate a paragraph space is hit the enter key twice where you want the break to occur, there's no need to use html tags.

The HTML equivalent, if you're interested, would be to either begin your paragraphs with <p> or follow them with <br><br>. (The latter is just the HTML version of what LW said.)

You're correct, this site tilts Conservative, but everyone's allowed their say. One bit of JU advice I'd give, though, is not to pre-judge an article by its title. People here like to pull quick switches, titling one way then feinting the other.

Welcome. Use paragraphs. I'm also former Navy (aviation ordnance) and my degree is in electronic engineering.

Enjoy.
